Dr. Allison Shane
Allison Shane earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2011 after graduating from UC Davis with a B.S. in Exercise Biology. She began her career at a private physical therapy practice in the heart of Silicon Valley specializing in repetitive stress and athletic injuries. Allison has worked alongside massage therapists and personal trainers in order to refine higher level exercise techniques and training methods for her patients. Allison became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2015, solidifying her skills in evidence based PT diagnosis and treatment.

Alex was first exposed to physical therapy as a sophomore high school baseball pitcher when he began to experience intense shoulder pain. The compassion and excitement shown from his own physical therapist was all the convincing he needed to pursue a career in the field. He was reassured he chose the best career path when he obtained an internship with the CU Sports Medicine program while in undergrad and had the opportunity to work with the Buffaloes’ football and volleyball teams.

Alice began her career in physical therapy in neurological rehabilitation with a special interest in working with adults 65 years young and beyond. What she learned from this experience was that the human body and mind is multidimensional and interconnected. The importance of listening and understanding the needs and goals of her patients/clients requires a trusting therapeutic relationship. Over the years, Alice has worked with adolescents, collegians and adults of any age and continued to develop skills in interpersonal dynamics, neuromusculoskeletal management, movement science, health and wellness which led her down the path to specializing in orthopedic physical therapy and higher education.

Since first being exposed to physical therapy as an injured soccer player, Bill knew he wanted to pursue a career in therapy. Bill’s medical career officially began at the age of 18 where he worked as a paraprofessional in a school for Autism and broad-based developmental disorders leading up to his time in the Physical Therapy Program at Northeastern University.
While at Northeastern, his love for sports medicine led him to multiple internships with the New England Patriots where he assisted with both regular and off-season rehabilitation programs.
