Insurance and Cash Services Info
The Fitness Lab accepts insurances for medically necessary physical therapy services. Unfortunately, insurance is not accepted at this time for the following services: personal training, medical exercise, and sports performance.
As a courtesy, The Fitness Lab will verify insurance coverage for all of our patients. The verification we receive from your insurance plan is NOT a guarantee of benefits. We recommend that you also verify your therapy benefits with your insurance company prior to your first appointment and let us know if there are inconsistencies with the coverage quoted.
We will also bill your insurance company on your behalf. At the time of service, we will collect the amount deemed your responsibility by your insurance company. This will include payment for any copayment, deductible payment, and/ or coinsurance.

Disclaimer: While this is an extensive list, health plans do change regularly without prior notification. We recommend that you verify with your health plan what physical therapy benefits you have available. As a courtesy to our patients, we will verify your health benefits prior to your arrival to determine if there will be a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for therapy services. For those patients who do not have health insurance or those who have maxed out their benefits, we offer a private pay plan.
Cash Physical Therapy Services
The Fitness Lab offers cash physical therapy, sometimes referred to as self-pay or concierge physical therapy, for patients who do not have insurance, have met their benefit limit, or are seeking treatment without insurance limitation. Insurance companies often dictate that a therapist focus solely on the region of the body where the pain resides even though the site of the pain is not always the root cause which slows down the recovery process.
All of our cash pay physical therapy services are rendered directly by a Doctor of Physical Therapy on a 1 to 1 basis with an hour-long treatment session. During this time you can expect to receive physical therapy that takes a whole-body approach to your treatment that otherwise would not be allowed by your insurance company. This approach allows for greater results in fewer visits.
The Fitness Lab physical therapists are experts who take a whole-body approach to help you Move Better and Feel Better Faster!
