I wandered into The Fitness Lab after two cervical spine fusions spaced 5 months apart. I was in decent shape before my degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis took hold, however due to the pain and partial paralysis I did not exercise at all for nearly a year. Needless to say, I sought help to literally get on my feet again. Matt Oster took me in like shelter in a storm, and with his extraordinary patience and expertise, I’ve been able to exercise with little to no pain, with benefits far-reaching beyond the gym. Under his watchful and caring eye, I am confident I can perform movements with accuracy and efficiency I have never before been able to achieve. With the addition of Bill to The Fitness Lab team, I now have one of the most experienced and knowledgeable physical therapists in the Denver Metro area in my personal health arsenal. Matt and Bill are extremely competent and amazing, and manage to keep a positive (at times, hilariously funny) atmosphere that is a pleasure to experience. I’m blessed to know them. Thanks, guys!

The FitnessLAB is an amazing place! Matt Oster is an amazing trainer with vast knowledge to keep you motivated to improve and get stronger with each workout. Since their specialty is Medical Exercise and Training I always feel that they are looking out for what is best for me and my body. If something doesn’t feel right, they change and customize your workout to fit your personal needs. This is a great facility with a great staff. I highly recommend The Fitness Lab!

Amazing Gym!!! Matt the owner knows what he’s doing. I’ve had a few personal trainers but Matt and his staff have been truly outstanding. He works with people starting to workout for the first time, to experienced athletes. It’s nice working out in a private studio gym where I get a great workout and I don’t have to be bothered with a busy gym. He keeps you motivated and on track with your goals. Matt at the Fitness Lab is awesome and I can’t say enough good things about him as a trainer. I came to the Fitness Lab with a long term back injury and he went above and beyond to make sure he clearly understood the injury and ensured that everything we were focusing on was beneficial and promoted long term results. Matt is awesome. He has such a strong knowledge of the muscular system, and is able to identify the root cause of pain in the body. I came to him after two chiropractors and an MRI couldn’t figure out what was causing me so much pain. He not only identified it, but has helped to drastically improve my pain levels after just a couple of weeks. Thank you so much Matt!!

I’ve known Matt since he was a high school student, he’s been doing some remote training for me for the past year as I live about an hour away. Today I took my 14 year old son down for an evaluation, he’s been having quite a bit of knee pain during basketball season and I thought he would benefit from some strength conditioning. I was actually profoundly impressed with Matt’s psychological knowledge and assessment of my son. He observed that Aidan was a bit misaligned and and as a result putting too much pressure on one knee. After a few ‘adjustments’ Aidan was already showing more balance in his movements. I’m so thankful we saw Matt early in the process as the kid is entering high school and the conditioning and training process could actually do some damage if we didn’t work on some basics with Matt first. Always punctual, always has new exercises and routines to keep things interesting, packs a LOT into each training session, and is a fun person who loves what he does. I also appreciate his nutritional advise and counseling, this wasn’t an aspect I expected but with his guidance in the gym and outside the gym, it has made all the difference in the world.
